The way you'd tell a friend.
Hold the button and talk. Or say “Hey Siri, log an expense” without taking the phone out. The audio is transcribed inside the iPhone and never kept as a file.
“Spent 800 at Walmart with my Santander card”What happens between saying a sentence and seeing it in your monthly summary. Not a tutorial: one expense, followed from start to finish.
Scroll slowly. The phone shows what happens at each step.
“Spent 800 at Walmart with my Santander card”
“Coffee 62 with the red one”. Which card is that?
Next time: “Tacos 90 with the red one”
Hold the button and talk. Or say “Hey Siri, log an expense” without taking the phone out. The audio is transcribed inside the iPhone and never kept as a file.
“Spent 800 at Walmart with my Santander card”800 is the amount. Walmart is the merchant, so the category is Groceries. “My Santander card” is the payment method. You said no date, so it's today.
When Sonanta is sure of everything, it saves on its own and leaves Undo within reach. If it has doubts, it shows you the card with that field highlighted and the cursor waiting there. It never guesses in silence.
If you said “the red one” and it didn't know which card that was, you tell it once. Next time, “the red one” is your Santander. Same with new merchants and their categories.
It joins the day's history, already sorted. You can search by merchant and filter by category, card, date or amount.
Without sitting down to fill anything in. The total, the daily average and the split by category come out of what you were saying all month.
No fixed order, nothing you have to include. Tap each part to see what Sonanta does with it.
“ I spent at , ”
Tap a part of the sentence.
The date sets itself. It also gets “the day before yesterday” or “on Saturday”. Say nothing and it's today.
Also “12 thousand”, however it comes out. If there's no amount, it doesn't invent one: it flags the field for you.
Known merchants arrive with theirs. Petco wasn't on the list: the first time you filed it under “Pets”, a category of your own, and that's how it lands now.
A nickname. The first time it asked which card that was; now it knows. Same for “the payroll one” or “my Nu”.
The expense still counts in full as yours, and David stays pending until you mark him as paid. If Ana owes you too, say it in the same sentence.
This is an ordinary Tuesday with Sonanta. No expense took more than a few seconds, and two didn't even need talking.
Phone in your pocket, keys in your hand.
“Hey Siri, log an expense” · “Coffee 62 in cash”One tap on the home screen widget and Sonanta was already listening.
“Uber 95 with my Santander card”You paid by holding up the iPhone. The expense arrived on its own with its merchant and amount, and you confirmed it with one tap when you had a minute.
You couldn't speak. One photo of the receipt and Sonanta read the total, the merchant and the date.
You said it all at once and it came out split: $180 in your expenses and Ana with $90 pending.
“Tacos 180, Ana owes me 90”The widget already said what you'd spent today. Nothing to catch up on, because nothing was left behind.
And the day you logged nothing until night? Slide the microphone up to the lock and tell it the whole day: the coffee, the Uber, the pharmacy. With Apple Intelligence they're split up and logged on their own. Tell me about your day
No five screens explaining what you already got. The rest you learn by using it.
No account to create, no email to hand over. A few short screens about what it does and doesn't do with your data, and you're inside.
The last thing you spent today: the coffee, the ride, whatever. Sonanta walks you through that first one on the real app, not on a mock-up.
Tips show up one at a time, on the day they make sense. If something slips your mind, the walkthrough runs again from Settings → Help.
Fourteen days with everything open. If you stay, $149 once. If you don't, there is nothing to cancel.
For iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
